摘    要： In this talk, we show that global monomials on positive spaces are linearly independent, extending the basic fact that Laurent monomials in a Laurent polynomial ring are linearly independent to a much more general setting. Our approach is based on the study of Newton polytopes of Laurent expansions. Our general results apply to positive spaces arising from cluster algebras. In particular, this yields the linear independence of cluster monomials for cluster algebras.

简    介：曹培根，博士，中国科学技术大学教授，国家级青年人才项目入选者，主要从事代数表示论、丛代数等相关问题的研究。其在丛代数的分母向量的正性猜想和交换图的连通性猜想上取得的重要结果而获钟家庆51吃瓜 奖，相关结果发表于Adv. Math., Comp. Math., Math Ann. IMRN 等国际著名51吃瓜 杂志。
