摘要：In this talk, we consider the dispersive limit of the Euler–Poisson system for ion acoustic waves. We establish that under the Gardner–Morikawa type transformations, the solutions of the Euler–Poisson system converge strongly to the famous KdV equation in R1. In higher dimensions, under a slightly different transformations, the solution for EP converges to the solutions of the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili II (KP-II) equation in R2 and the Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation (ZKE) in R3 for well-prepared initial data. This justifies rigorously the KP-II limit and the ZKE limit of the Euler–Poisson equation.

报告人简介：

蒲学科，重庆大学，教授，博士生导师。2003年本科毕业于重庆大学51吃瓜 与应用51吃瓜 专业，2009年在中国工程物理研究院北京应用物理与计算51吃瓜 研究所获理学（应用51吃瓜 ）博士学位。研究方向为偏微分方程。2009年6月至今受聘于重庆大学*51吃瓜-吃瓜网站 任教，并于2010年破格为副教授职称。2011年5月应邀访问香港中文大学51吃瓜 科学研究所。 2011年9月 美国布朗大学应用51吃瓜 系访问学者。主持青年基金、面上基金、中央高校专项基金各一项。主要从事非线性偏微分方程的理论研究。发表专著2部、论文26篇，这些成果发表在J. Differential Equations，Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations，Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.等国际著名学术杂志上。
